The Victor Carbonsonic NCS Max (often listed as the New CarbonSonic Max) is Victor’s flagship, tournament-grade synthetic/hybrid shuttlecock. Sitting at the absolute top of the Carbonsonic line (above the base NCS and NCS Pro), the Max represents a major leap forward in trying to close the gap between synthetic durability and genuine feather performance.

Instead of using traditional nylon skirts or real goose feathers, the NCS Max uses a highly advanced carbon-fiber framework paired with ultra-engineered synthetic materials to replicate the precise flight, sound, and feel of a premium tournament feather shuttle.

Performance Profile

  1. The Feather-Like "Crack": Because of the rigid composite cork and carbon fiber stems, striking the NCS Max produces the exact crisp, loud "cracking" sound of a premium goose-feather shuttle, providing authentic tactile feedback that typical nylon shuttles completely lack.
