The Solinco Barb Wire 16G (1.30mm) is widely considered the most aggressive spin-producing string in the Solinco lineup. It takes the sharp-edged concept of their famous Tour Bite and pushes it further with an additional manufacturing process to maximize ball grip.

Performance Profile

  1. Extreme Bite: While strings like Hyper-G are shaped, Barb Wire is both square-shaped and axially twisted. This "barbed" texture creates massive friction against the ball, allowing for extreme rotation and "heavy" balls that dive sharply into the court.
