While the original Hawk and Hawk Touch focus heavily on precision and a firm feel, Hawk Power is engineered for a slightly more lively response without sacrificing the control that high-level players demand.

- Power: As the name suggests, this string offers a noticeable boost in energy return compared to traditional stiff polys. It provides a "poppy" sensation that helps with depth on full swings.
- Feel & Comfort: It features a softer, more flexible monofilament construction. This results in a "pocketing" feel where the ball stays on the strings a millisecond longer, providing better feedback and a more forgiving response on off-center hits.
- Spin: With a round profile, it doesn't have the sharp "bite" of shaped strings like Lynx Tour. However, it is quite slick, allowing for excellent "snap-back" which generates a high level of consistent topspin.
- Tension Stability: It is specifically engineered to hold its playability longer than many other "soft" polyesters, which often go "dead" or lose tension quickly.

- High-Performance / Tournament Players: Specifically those with fast swing speeds who want the control of a polyester but need a bit more "free power" to help finish points.

Note:
If you are coming from a very stiff string like Luxilon 4G or Solinco Tour Bite, you may find you need to increase your tension by 1–2 lbs to maintain the same level of control, given the increased elasticity of Hawk Power.
