The Head Gravity Team 2025 is the most forgiving and accessible model in the Gravity family. Designed specifically for intermediate club players and ambitious beginners, it shifts the focus toward ease of use, a larger hitting area, and lightweight maneuverability while maintaining the signature "plush" feel of the line.

For 2025, the Team model has been updated to be even faster and more comfortable than its predecessor.

Core Technologies & Updates

  1. Auxetic 2.0: This is the headline update for 2025. By integrating this adaptive material into both the yoke and the handle, Head has significantly smoothed out the vibrations on impact, providing "real-time" tactile feedback that helps you feel more connected to the ball.
  2. 104 sq in Head Size: While the rest of the Gravity line stays at 98 or 100 sq in, the Team model features a larger 104-inch hoop. This creates a massive sweet spot, providing extra margin for error on off-center hits.
  3. Teardrop Geometry: The frame is wider at the tip, moving the hitting zone higher up the racquet. This aligns with where modern players naturally strike the ball, preventing that "dead" feeling common in traditionally shaped racquets.
  4. Variable Beam: At 24mm, the beam is thicker than the Pro or Tour models. This allows the racquet to generate more "free" power, helping players with shorter swings depth and pace.

On-Court Performance

  1. Maneuverability & Speed: At 270g, this racquet is exceptionally easy to swing. It is ideal for players who need to react quickly at the net or those who want to increase their racquet head speed to generate more spin.
  2. Plush Comfort: With a very low stiffness rating of 57 RA, it is one of the most arm-friendly racquets in its weight class. It absorbs shock effectively, making it a great choice for players worried about joint pain.
  3. Forgiveness: The combination of the oversized head and the 16x20 string pattern makes it very "stable" for a light racquet. You can maintain depth and direction even when your footwork isn't perfect.
  4. Controlled Power: While it has more power than the heavier Gravity models, it is still a "control" frame compared to something like a Head Boom or Extreme. The 16x20 pattern helps keep the ball from flying long, providing a predictable response.

Who is it for?

The Gravity Team 2025 is the ideal choice for:

  1. Intermediate Club Players: Who want a high-performance frame that is easy to handle during long matches.
  2. Dedicated Beginners: Who are looking for a "forever" racquet they can grow into as their technique improves.
  3. Senior Players: Who want a lightweight, flexible frame that protects their arm without sacrificing modern tech.
