The Babolat WIZARD EVO Pickleball Paddle (Black/White/Green) represents the step-up performance model in Babolat's control series. Stepping up from the AXS line, the EVO series introduces a Raw Carbon face paired with an extra-plush 18 mm core to deliver maximum control, touch, and stability.

Performance Profile

  1. Plush Touch & Cushioning (High): Featuring an ultra-thick 18 mm polypropylene core, the Wizard EVO excels at dampening ball impact energy. This core absorbs pace effortlessly, allowing for surgical dink drops, soft resets, and effortless third-shot control.
  2. Raw Carbon Spin Potential (High): Outfitted with RPM PureGrit raw carbon surface technology, the naturally abrasive texture bites into the ball to produce high dwell time and heavy topspin or slice variation.
  3. Exceptional Stability & Forgiveness: The widebody head design (8.25 in wide) combined with the thick core expands the sweet spot edge-to-edge, minimizing paddle twist on off-center hits.
  4. Enhanced Reach & Two-Handed Play: Equipped with a 5.3-inch (135 mm) grip length, it comfortably accommodates two-handed backhand grips and provides solid leverage at the kitchen line.

Best Suited For

  1. Control & Soft-Game Specialists: Designed for defensive, counter-attacking, or placement-focused players who rely on dinking, drops, and absorbing heavy opponent drives.
  2. Intermediate to Advanced Players: Ideal for rising players moving beyond entry-level fiberglass or standard painted surfaces to a true raw carbon paddle face.
  3. Players Needing Joint Comfort: The combination of the vibration-dampening 18 mm core and 225 g lightweight frame makes it easy on the elbow and wrist.
