The Babolat Pure Aero S Lite Gen 9 (2026)—also known as the "Super Lite"—is the absolute lightest model in the adult Pure Aero family. It is specifically engineered for two types of players: high-level juniors transitioning into their first full-sized adult racquet and adults who require a "featherweight" frame to maximize their swing speed.

As a strung model, it typically arrives factory-strung with a high-quality Babolat synthetic gut or multifilament to ensure immediate playability and comfort.

  1. Aeromodular 4: The 2026 update features a reworked aerodynamic core that reduces wind drag by approximately 6%. For a racquet this light, this translates into "lightning-fast" racquet head speed, making it effortless to generate the "brushing" motion required for heavy topspin.
  2. NF²-Tech 2.0: This version uses 100% unidirectional natural flax fibers integrated into the frame. These fibers are superior at filtering out the harsh, high-frequency vibrations common in ultra-light racquets, providing a smooth, dampened feel and a clean sound at impact
  3. FSI Spin Technology: Combines a specifically tuned 16x19 string bed with Spin Grommets at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions. This allows the strings to move more freely, increasing "snapback" and loading the ball with more RPMs.
  4. Woofer System: Increases the contact time between the ball and the strings (dwell time), which helps provide more control and comfort, a critical feature for a lightweight, powerful frame.
  5. Extreme Maneuverability: At only 255g (unstrung), this racquet is incredibly easy to whip through the air. It excels at the net for quick reaction volleys and makes it easy to maintain a high swing speed even toward the end of a long match.
  6. Effortless Spin: The combination of the Aeromodular design and the light weight allows players with slower swing speeds to still generate significant topspin to keep the ball deep and jumping off the court.
  7. Transition Focus: Its balance and weight are designed to prevent the arm fatigue or injury that can occur when a younger player moves too quickly to a standard 300g performance racquet.
